Elros
Fue el primer rey de Númenor. Gobernó bajo el nombre de Tar-Minyatur. Era hermano de Elrond. Ambos hijos de la unión entre un Hombres (Tierra Media) humano (Eärendil El Alto) y de una princesa élfica] de Doriath (Elwing, hija también de un humano y una elfa). Como medio elfo podía elegir si quería vivir una vida de Hombre o de Elfo. Eligió vivir como un hombre, al contrario que su hermano.
